What is Aromatherapy?
Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils, the pure volatile portion of aromatic plant products normally extracted by distillation, for therapeutic or medical purposes. Essential oils encompass >60 kinds of herbal oils that are used to ease aches, pains and injuries. Aromatherapy also acts on the central nervous system, relieving depression and anxiety, reducing stress, relaxing, sedating or stimulating, and restoring both physical and emotional well-being.
It is a unique type of therapy that combines the power of touch with the therapeutic properties of essential oils. These essential oils have healing properties.
While doing aromatherapy, essential oils are mixed in lotion or carrer oil and then massaged into client’s skin, as the oil indulges with body, it gives a soothing sensation and also stimulate the olfactory system, which influence the limbic system, the part of the brain responsible for emotions and memories. We at Jasmine will give you the aromatherapy experience which you have never felt before, a multi-sensory experience, with the subtle scents of the oils filling the air, soft music playing in the background, and the gentle, rhythmic strokes of the massage itself.
